It would be improper not to mention possibility of getting to Zadar by train but honestly speaking, it's the slowest way of traveling. Actually there is only one train from Zagreb to Zadar. I wouldn’t recommend traveling by train to Zadar, the bus is far quicker!
On the way from Zagreb to Zadar, the train stops so many times that the journey turns into a very long travel. There are two trains to Zadar, one at 7:34 AM arriving at Zadar railway station at 14:18 PM (almost sever hours).
