A Feast of St. Duje (St. Domnius) a real tourist event

Centuries-old traditional feast of St. Duje or 'fjera St. Duje', will be celebrated this year on May 7. It is dedicated to St. Dujam, Salona bishop, who lived in the time of Emperor Diocletian when he was executed. Sveti Dujam is the patron saint of Split city.

St. Domnius Day will be as usually rich and full of content. From the religious and sports events to concert of brass band , exhibitions, free movie projections and theater shows.

On St. Domnius Day the traditional program will start with the procession and the mass in the morning (09.00 AM), bingo in the afternoon, concert and on the fish market the feasting with fish food and drinks.

The celebration will end with a concert at Riva promenade to celebrate the City Day on May 7  from 21.00 to midnight, and it will end with a beautiful 5 minutes fireworks.

Flower festival - A flower for Split

International Flower Fair is held in Split in May ate the basement halls of Diocletian's Palace filled with flowers during this festival. Florists compete for the most beautiful and artistic displays and the cool, damp atmosphere of the basement halls keeps the flowers fresh. More information .
