Zlatni Rat Beach in Croatia: The Most Spectacular Pebble Beach You’ll See

Each time I watch Zlatni Rat beach from Vidova Gora (Brac island highest peak) overlooking this magic beach, I can not believe my eyes the divine masterpiece in front of me.

he setting is sublime, the mountain dominating over the Golden Horn beach, blue clear water on your left and right, the sound of the waves on the white pebbles, a gentle breeze. The feast for your eyes and soul.

It’s Croatia’s most spectacular golden pebble beach, almost 580 yards long, also known as Golden Horn or Cape. It’s located in front of Bol town on the island of Brac.

The beach has a unique shape, like a white tongue stretched into the sea. It is unique also for the fact that it changes shape and position, depending on the wind. With its beauty and vast offer of various sports, the beach Golden Horn attracts tourists from all over the world, who like to enjoy the sun, the sea and water sports.

The beach is only two km from the Bol town. To reach the beach from the Bol town port, you can take a water taxi to the Golden Horn. But I recommend walking there. The walk goes along the coast, under pine trees and takes about 25 minutes at a leisurely pace.
